Lesson Description:

This is a complex section as we are looking at various ranges for Biu Tze entries from long to short. However, classically, we aim to strike at the neck.

We look at some variations on how to apply Biu Tze against, for example, a boxing jab or various strikes.

However, the philosophy of the Biu Tze is to basically (in a traditional sense) apply killing techniques, I repeat, please do this slowly or wear heavy neck protection or neck braces.

When we create the attack we look at a particular reaction in whereby you learn to discharge the energy and Lap onto the opponents arm and thus throwing him away from you. It is a full circle motion teaching you to really absorb the full force of the opponent and really redirecting the whole body into another direction.

This exercise is repeated and, being a two-man set, the exercise of discharging Lapping and throwing becomes almost a dance-like drill whereby the students learn to throw each other while retaining their balance.

Of course there are counter attacks and many variations that are added to this style of technique.
