This lecture presentation will include an overview of biological, nutritional, and herbal approaches in mental health. This will include up-to-date research on these topics, including evidence for dietary and nutraceutical treatments that can be useful to complement psychotherapy for mental illness. In addition the presentation will highlight recent understanding on the gut/brain connection, including protocols for modulating the microbiome to influence mental health.
