Lesson Description:

The sixth section Chi Sao is possibly viewed as an easier lesson, and probably more enjoyable, we are now dealing with longer range attacks and countering them with our own long range attacks.

The Lap-Fak drill is quite intense and really helps the student to learn how to use the back, shoulder and arms working in unison.

The counter defense is executed almost in the same way in the sense you could opt for a Fak Sao versus a Fak Sao, however we will be discharging his energy with a Tan Sao, Lap Sao and counter Fak Sao application. It is combined in a drill utilizing footwork and moving forward, or it can be used in a fixed position pivoting side to side.

We will deal with incoming attacks whereby your opponent will try to take the place of your body forcing you to deal with this pressure with the appropriate footwork whilst simultaneously discharging his attack with your arms and body.
