This course covers the Three Essential Ways to learn and play ukulele:
– Reading Treble Clef
– Reading Ukulele Tab
– Playing Chords
This is the ONLY ukulele method to teach the basics of all 3 styles of learning ukulele.
If you already know how to read Treble Clef, learn how it relates to the ukulele.
Ukulele Tablature (Tab) is a popular way to read music for ukulele that uses numbers to represent frets and lines to represent strings.
Learning Chords with our unique Chord by Key approach will have you playing along with your favorite songs in no time!
Through a series of simple exercises you will quickly learn how to play all 3 styles.
But what if I just want to play chords and sing?
Learning to read treble clef and ukulele tab will open up a new world of possibilities as well as build finger strength and dexterity to help you play chords easier and more.
What if I already know some of this? This course will give you an overview of all 3 styles which will make you a more rounded player. You may even learn something new about the stuff that you already thought you knew!
This course will help you to lay a foundation and to find out what you enjoy playing.
From here, you will be able to grab chord charts and play along to your favorite songs.
You can grab and play along to most songs in treble clef (not just music for ukulele). So you can use it to play vocal melodies, piano music, guitar music, band music (sax, flute, trumpet, etc) or anything else you can find!
You can play a variety of ukulele tab. Have you ever heard someone like Jake Shimabukuro play? Check him out and you can use tab to play like him. One of my ukulele students is finishing his version of Bohemian Rhapsody right now and we have been using ukulele tab to learn it!

Currently, this course is only PDFs. It is essentially in a lesson book format. It is easy to follow and most people (especially those with some music background) shouldn’t have any problem following along.
I am working on videos that go along with each lesson that will be included as soon as they are completed. Those that buy in before all videos are added will receive special pricing and the price will go up once all videos are added.

Shane
I’m that weird guy that ended up loving business and marketing as much as I love music and teaching.
While most small business owners are content to stay in their bubble and let someone else handle all of that business stuff, I dug in and learned to help my studio grow. I have years pouring over information and translating it into a language that music teachers can understand so that you don’t have to. I’m here to make your job easier, so that you can get back to doing what you love.
I’m a multi-instrumentalist teacher (guitar, piano, drums, bass, guitar, ukulele, sax, and a few others) with experience teaching in a variety of locations. Everything from music stores to my house to arts academies and churches to finally opening my own multi-teacher commercial location in 2014. I started The Studio Challenge Facebook group in 2016 and have since helped thousands of music teachers to learn about the business side of teaching and growing their studios.
I’ve been there and I understand where you are and what you’re going through. It’s time to break through and help your studio grow. Let’s do this!
